Travelling will always be a life changing adventure. It doesn’t really matter whether we travel alone or in a group, something about us will surely change. With change, we learn, we grow and that is the reason friends and family always comment they see something different when we return from a trip. The bigger the trip/adventure bigger the change.

It has long been said that travel makes a person better. Better in many ways more tolerant, more open, more relaxed, more understanding of the world and different cultures. The list of benefits are to great for this short observation.

I think it is very important for all individuals to step out of our comfort zone! Exposing ourselves to a new environment, new opportunities and new people who have no idea about our past. It might seem intimidating at first, but later we feel liberated by the experience and realize that the experience was worth the time and effort.

Traveling today has been transformed by the digital world we now find ourselves. It is possible for any individual to travel and work with ease around the globe in this ‘new digital landscape’.

There are a lot of airline companies offering promo fares or cheap flights every day to far flung destinations where once upon a time only the rich and famous had the funds and connections to even consider such an idea.

Here are some good reasons why we definitely need to move our feet and conquer the world by traveling and as a by-product of our little adventure grow as an individual. For the Better!

‘Take 5’ That May Help Plan Your Next Adventure!

1. It’s one of the best ways to unload, to have a break and breathe in some fresh air out of our busy life. Taking time, even for a short travel relaxes the mind. At times we need to lose sight of things so we could balance our lives which enables us to have a better plan for our future endeavors.

2. It is a great way to gain a new set of friends from around the world and experience their culture. Being in a place where we are a complete stranger, we will be compelled to talk and communicate to make ourselves comfortable. When we get home, we’ll surely become a good story teller.

3. It allows us to experience the beauty of nature itself. Not only appreciate it once, but will probably make us want to see more. If we feel good looking at breath- taking pictures, can you imagine what we’re going to feel when it’s actually in front of us already?

4. It makes us appreciate life more even the smallest bit of what we already have and be happy. It teaches us life lessons that we could never learn if we just stay within the four corners of our house.

5. It helps us understand other people’s behaviors and beliefs. Experiencing their culture and way of living answers mostly the “why”. Since travelling doesn’t always go as planned, there will also be ups and downs. Through that, we become more adaptable. We learn to adjust, not to get angry right away and stay as cool as possible.

Nowadays, travelling is already a way of life!….Do not be an armchair traveler! So while you still have the opportunity to explore the world, why not start planning for your next trip/adventure and discover the other side of you. ….You But Better!…I dare You!…Start with Why? and then with How? ..and now When?…Good luck!
